A Pakistan Army soldier, Lance Naik Muhammad Ejaz Khan, was martyred during an exchange of fire with terrorists in the general area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan, as reported by the military’s media wing on Thursday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated, “Lance Naik Muhammad Ejaz Khan, having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom during a gunfight.”
In another operation, Pakistani security forces successfully eliminated at least four notorious terrorists, including a high-value target, in the capital of the country’s northwestern region bordering Afghanistan. The operation took place in the general area of Badaber in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Peshawar district.
The military’s media wing explained that the forces conducted the operation based on intelligence information regarding the presence of terrorists in the region. “Our soldiers engaged the militants’ location, and four terrorists were neutralized,” the statement affirmed. The deceased militants were identified as commander Samiullah alias Shenay, terrorist commander Salman alias Ahmed, Imran alias Muhammad, and Hazrat Umar alias Khalid.
The militants were reportedly highly sought after by the armed forces due to their active involvement in various terrorist activities, including extortion and targeted killings in the area.
